30-Day Reading Challenge
I’ve got 30 days to read three books totaling 360,000 words.
Aight bro,
I wrote a 2,500+ word version of this but decided to scrap all that and make this short and simple.
I finally finished the 2nd draft of my novel and I need to take a break from it before my next round of edits.
I decided in that time to read some other fiction books and I chose 3 based on specific criteria.
The word count for the 3 books totals at 360,000 words and I have to physically read them all — no audio books.
Amazon kindle has a 30 day trial so in that 30 days I’m gonna read all of em.
That also happens to be the perfect time period to take a break from my book and come back into it with fresh eyes for my 3rd draft.
In order to read all 360,000 words of the 3 novels, I need to read for an hour and half per day (I’m not a fast reader). Plus reading my Bible daily, writing video scripts, recording, and editing YouTube videos. Time to lock in!
I’m also a dad and a husband so I have to MAKE time.
You won’t hear from me formally on this again until 30 days is up.
Will I stick to the reading plan, or will I fold? Find out in 30 days I guess.
Meet back up on my new post about the challenge, what I read, what I learned , and all the insights I picked up during the 30 days.
Subscribe here if you haven’t. I’ll see you in June.
….btw if you’re up for the challenge follow along.

See ya at the finish line
